RONIN THEATRE PRESENTS "A DOLL'S HOUSE" LIKE NONE YOU'VE SEEN BEFORE
The season of Breaking Points continues at Ronin Theatre Collaborative following the success of "A Klingon Hamlet". A new startling reinvention is currently underway for a July premiere. It is under the guiding hand of Cody Goulder, the company's own artistic director & stage managed by designer in residence, Kody Hernandez. "A Doll's House" the play that shook Europe & America makes its debut as a psychological thriller at The Irish Cultural Center & McClelland Library this July 31st thru August 3rd before carrying on at Stage Left August 15th thru the 24th.
Nora Helmer has been hiding something. A secret that once exposed, could ruin the perfect world her Husband has made for her and their children. Who can Nora trust? What will she do to keep her family? When will everyone finally stop leering at her? The Ibsen classic as you’ve never seen it before, “A Doll’s House”.
Leading the cast of this thrilling production, Melody Knudson is Nora Helmer, a housewife determined to keep her secret at whatever cost. Elizabeth Broeder is Nora's wiser and devoted friend, Kristine Linde. She is suspicious of Nora's nascent skittishness and determined to get to the bottom of it. Joseph Guffey is Torvald Helmer, Nora's husband, from whom the secret must be kept at all cost. Alex Bukisch is Nils Krogstad, the man who threatens to tear Nora's perfect world apart if his demands aren't met. Van Rockwell is Dr. Rank, a family friend determined to be more than that description. Michaela Davison is Anne Marie, Nora's maid and nanny trying to keep the Doll House tidy despite the residents inside.
Evening performances on Friday and Saturday at 7pm with matinee shows on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Online Tickets are $35 online. Military & Student tickets are $25 and only available at the door with ID.
