Performance Dates: April 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 and possible adds of April 7 & 9, also
Saturday April 25th for Festival of Tales (performances completed by 2p)
Performance Times: 9:30a—10:30a Tuesday and Thursday
Play Synopsis: Set in modern day, the audience will follow a group of storytellers that are competing to win the prize as best storyteller. They have been tasked with telling stories about famous tall tale heroes/heroines--but with a twist. They have to tell stories based on these heroes/heroines but the stories must take place in present day! Stories may focus on characters such as: Pecos Bill and Slue Foot Sue, Casey Jones, Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, etc. Addi- tionally, each story will have two endings and the audience will get a chance to vote on each end- ing; and the audience will get a chance to vote on which storyteller wins the whole competition!
Roles Available: 4-6 either
Additional Info: All performers cast in the production are required to register for the THP 201AA Theatre Production Class (1 credit).
