THE ADDAMS FAMILY YOUNG@PART (MUSICAL)
THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents

SWEENEY TODD (MUSICAL)
An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett's luck sharply shifts when Todd's thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up... and the carnage has only just begun!
CASTING AGES 15 through ADULTS (except the role of Toby age 13+)
Sweeney Todd is not a show for everyone. Please be aware of the show's content before auditioning.
The musical is of the horror/thriller genre and there are stylized depictions of bloody violence. While much of this is played for laughs (the show is labeled as a black comedy), it could be frightening to younger viewers. The show is about an unjustly exiled barber getting his revenge on the people who wronged him. He does so by cutting the throats of his victims and sending the bodies to the shop below where his accomplice, a meat-pie proprietress, turns them into pies that the residents of London can’t get enough of. Sweeney Todd has several “jump scares” that occur throughout the performance. There is also some suggestive language and two instances of minor profanity. There is a song about turning the victims into meat pies called “A Little Priest”. While played as a very comedic song, the subject matter is… well… interesting to say the least!
