"Trista Baldwin's Fetal is an emotionally charged drama set in the waiting room of an abortion clinic. In a raw and honest way, the play delves into the complex emotions surrounding pregnancy and choice. The talented cast in Stray Cat Theatre's Arizona premiere production deliver gripping performances, bringing authenticity and depth to Baldwin's powerful and impactful script....Baldwin's play premiered in 2023 and does a fairly good job of presenting views from both sides of the abortion argument...Under E.E. Moe's adept direction, the cast deliver fleshed out, distinctive, and heartbreaking portrayals with performances that shift between moments of strength and vulnerability and emotional highs and lows. All four actresses create individuals that are complex, empathetic, raw, and deeply felt, ensuring that each individual resonates with the audience. ...a heartbreaking, timely, and thought-provoking play. With powerful performances and a play that offers an unflinching exploration of difficult themes, Stray Cat's production is both heartbreaking and deeply moving, highlighting the loss of a woman's right to choose and the need to band together to unite against adversity."   - Gil Benbrook, TalkinBroadway.com (click here to read the complete review)

"Trista Baldwin’s new play “Fetal” is set in a Houston abortion clinic on the day Roe v. Wade was killed by the newly conservative Supreme Court.  The play is certainly a telling tale on women losing a cherished right to decide if and when they should bring a baby into this troubled world.  Unfortunately, The Stray Cat Theatre (SCT) production lacks sharp staging and dynamic acting so it sputters instead of sprinting toward enforcing its critical message."    -Chris Curcio, Curtain Up Phoenix (click here to read the complete review)
