SIX WIVES OF HENRY VIII—Sensational triple threat performers required to perform the six wives of Henry VIII (Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr) as they reunite to tell their stories in the form of a pop concert musical.
Character Descriptions:
Catherine of Aragon
A real badass monarch. Commanding, sure of herself, bold. She lights up the room.
Pop inspiration: Beyonce, J-Lo, Shakira.
Anne Boleyn
Fun-loving, always up for a laugh. Never takes anything too seriously, but at the same time lives for the drama. Some have described her as a “chaos goblin.”
Pop inspiration: Lily Allen, Kate Nash, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne.
Jane Seymour
Kind and sincere. Always a beat behind the rest, and with a real zeal for bad jokes – she’s steadfast, loving, and deep down as fierce as any other Queen.
Pop inspiration: Adele, Emeli Sandé, Sia.
Anna of Cleves
Exuberant, eccentric, and effortlessly cool. She is savvy, loves her life, won history and no one even knows it. Cleves is here for a good time.
Pop inspiration: Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX.
Katherine Howard
Super smart with a wicked sense of humor. Remembered as ‘the promiscuous one’ – but she is SO much more than that.
Pop inspiration: Ariana Grande, Britney.
Catherine Parr
Grounded, thoughtful and warm. A champion of female empowerment. She is smart and soulful – with a story that goes far beyond her status as simply “the survivor.”
Pop inspiration: Alicia Keys, Emeli Sandé, Jorja Smith.
The characters described above are portrayed as women on stage—All applicants who meet the performance requirements and feel comfortable playing a woman on stage are encouraged to apply.

Audition dates: Sunday, July 28, & Monday, July 29, 2024, at 6PM
Callbacks: Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 5:30PM
We will be casting two casts. Each cast will perform a weekend of four shows.
All performers must be sensationally strong singers, dancers, and actors. Triple threats mandatory.
The Production of SIX the Musical: Teen Edition includes theatrical haze, strobe lighting effects, and loud music.
Please note the show is rated PG-13.
Requirements:

Please come prepared to sing 60—90 seconds of a pop/rock song of your choice. Please sing with sheet music or a karaoke track. ABSOLUTELY NO A CAPPELLA!
