We will be casting one Adult Cast AND one Teen Cast (12-19).
Auditions will be held in person at Starlight Community Theater, 1611 W. Whispering Wind Dr. Suite #9, Phoenix, AZ 85085.
Performances are May 5-13, 2023
Audition Information:
TEENS Please prepare a Modern Comedic Monologue - 1 to 2 minutes long (Performed in a normal voice and repeated in a New York or New Jersey accent if possible)
ADULTS Please prepare one of the comedic monologues that you will find on the audition sign up in the attachments.
In-person auditions are Saturday, February 18, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please sign up for the time that works best for you.

VIDEO SUBMISSION This option exists for actors who have a conflict for February 18.
Actors should prepare a video submission of a monologue as directed above. The deadline to submit a video is 11:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15. Submissions after this date will not be considered.
CALLBACKS by invitation will be in person on Sunday, February 19, at 10:30am for Adults and 8:30am for teens. Actors submitting video submissions will be notified by February 17, if you are needed for callbacks. Attendance at callbacks will be necessary in order to be cast.
The Story:
It's 1948, it's the dead of winter, and it's time for "Loving Lives," a radio soap opera on its last legs. A pompous romantic lead, an incapacitated announcer, an obnoxious kazoo-tooting child star, and multiple off-the-air seductions all contribute to the hilarious demise of the radio show.
