Auditions for JUNIE B JONES IS NOT A CROOK at Act One Youth Theater announced for August 12

Directed by Lauri Hunter

For Ages 6-18

Something terrible happened to Junie B. Jones at school today! Someone stole her new furry mittens! So when Junie B. finds a wonderful pen of many colors, she should be allowed to keep it, right? Because finders keepers, losers weepers.

And guess what? There's a new boy in kindergarten and he is the handsomest. The only thing is both Grace and Lucille want him to be their boyfriend. Maybe he will love Junie B. when he sees her wonderful pen! It is okay to keep it, right?

Junie B. Jones is not a crook . . . or is she? A hilarious and heartfelt tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park.

This is a play with music (No singing). Ensemble will be required to dance to music during ensemble parts.

Please note:

This was also a show that was postponed from last year. So the original casting will remain. For those who were cast in the original production, but who choose not to return, there may be leading and supporting roles open for existing cast and prospective cast members to audition for those available roles.

Those roles available will be posted on our website no later than July 31. Notice will also be sent to everyone who signed up to audition what roles are available in addition to ensemble.
