From our friends at Act One:
CULTURE PASS OFFERS FAMILIES FREE OPTIONS OVER SUMMER TO EXPLORE ARTS AND CULTURE
Summer is a great time for families to get out and experience the Valley’s art and culture and even better way is for FREE with Act One Culture Pass.
Headed out of town for cooler weather , don’t worry Culture Pass has families covered in Sedona, Kingman and Flagstaff with passes available at the Sedona Public Library to places such as the Sedona Heritage Museum, Route 66 Museum, and the Lowell Observatory. More than 30 arts venues and 44 libraries are participating in this program statewide. Click here for a full list of arts partners and participating libraries
Library cardholders can check out an Act One Culture Pass for FREE admission for tickets for two people at participating arts and cultural institutions such as Superstition Mountain Museum in Apache Junction, Cave Creek Museum in Cave Creek, Pueblo Grande Museum in Phoenix and Deer Valley Rock Art Center in northwest Phoenix.. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They cannot be renewed; they cannot be placed on hold.
“Families can find a laminated card for the arts destination in which they are interested and take it to the library checkout desk. Staff will provide a date-due slip admitting two people for one visit to that museum or cultural institution during the following seven days. You do not need to return the slip; it will expire on its own,” says Megan Jefferies, Act One executive director.
"The Act One Culture Pass is just one more way that public libraries make great resources accessible to everyone," says Kathy Husser, Adult Services Coordinator at the Phoenix Public Library.
