DATES:
Sept. 19th, 2015 - Saturday
Sept. 20th, 2015 - Sunday
TIMES:
9:00am - 4:00pm on Saturday
9:00am - 12:00pm on Sunday
FYI - Callbacks will be on Sept. 20th starting at 2:00pm. You will be told during your audition if we would like to call you back for a specific role.

Auditions will go something like this, all auditionees will:
1. Be greeted by a host that will help them through the entire audition process.
2. Receive and fill out any additional paperwork that is needed.
Go through a few warm up exercises that they might need, either with a group or individually.
3. Draw 3 random characters out of a basket. They will choose the one that best suits them as a performer, or is closest to their desired character.
4. Take a few minutes to figure out why that character would be at the castle to see the Queen.
5. When ready, the auditionee will be announced.
6. They will enter as their chosen character and converse with the Queen for a few minutes as they explain why they are there to see Her Majesty.
7. Answer any questions that are asked by the board of observers.
8. As soon as they are finished with their audition they are free to leave.
It might sound a little intimidating, but there is nothing to get nervous about. There will be people there to help every step of the way.

Answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:
1. No, you do not have to commit to all 19 days of the Festival. Full-run commitments are preferred for most roles and required for any featured characters, but we do have some limited part-time roles.
2. Yes, you can still participate if you aren’t ready to be a character yet! There are options to be stage support and even limited manager positions.
3. No, there is not an age limit to be a performer. However, if you are under 16 years old we will ask you to participate with a parent. We will cast you as a team!
4. Yes, local cast members are allowed to camp onsite Friday and Saturday evenings. There is a refundable deposit for camping.
5. No, cast members are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages during a Festival day. Smoking is limited to specific backstage areas only.
6. Yes, we perform rain or shine.
7. No, previous experience is not needed. We can teach you what you need to know to be part of the faire.
8. Each character is responsible for providing their own Festival approved costume. More than likely, the costume that you have already will not be approved to wear as a cast member. Costuming is a detailed process what involves several steps before actually cutting into fabric. Those guidelines are much too detailed to list them all here. If you wish to discuss costuming further please contact us with specific questions and we’ll be happy to answer them.
9. No, we do not pay by the hour. Acting at our show is not a “job”. If you are looking for steady income there are a couple of departments that do pay by the hour but the entertainment department is not one of those. We do this for the love of performing… the majority of the roles at the faire are volunteer positions that may receive a small stipend.
10. Yes, you will make lots of new friends!
11. Yes, we can help you build a character that'll best fit your interests and talents. We try to assign roles to people based on what will be the most fun for them.
12. Of course there is a role that will fit your personality and experience level!!
