The Cosmonauts Sketch Comedy Troupe is holding auditions for a permanent female cast member of any ethnicity or physicality between the ages of 25 and 40.
The Cosmonauts are one of the longest-running sketch comedy troupes in Arizona, having formed in 2012. We perform live shows all over the Valley, and are Official Selections of the 2018 Joshua Tree International Improv/Comedy Festival, the 2020 San Francisco Sketchfest, the 2021 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, and the 2021 Portland Comedy Film Festival. Our shows consist of 100%-original scripted sketches; think SNL if it were R-rated.
Auditions are being held virtually. Comedy experience, whether improv or sketch, is required. Please provide a headshot, resumé, and a video of a comedic monologue or scene reading, and send to jamie.tyus@cox.net. Thank you!
