Hale Centre Theatre will hold auditions for The 39 Steps, playing April 28, 2020 – June 16, 2019. The show is produced by David and Corrin Dietlein, directed by David Dietlein and casting directors David and Corrin Dietlein. Performances are Monday and Tuesday evenings, with select Monday and Tuesday matinees at 4pm.

A video audition may be submitted in lieu of a physical audition. Prepare & submit the side of your choice on Casting Manager via YouTube prior to the audition date.

Payment
Richard & Annabelle - Lead: $75 per performance totaling about $1350.00*
Clowns & Foley Artist: $50 per performance totaling about $900.00*
Actors in lead roles will receive an estimated payment of $150-$225 a week or $1350.00, all other adult actors will receive an estimated payment of $100-$150 a week or $900.00 total for the run of the show. Actors will receive a free meals between matinee and evening performances and six complimentary tickets.
*Estimated payment may differ if performances are added or removed.
Synopsis
What do you get when you mix a spellbinding Hitchcock murder mystery with a juicy spy novel? Oh, and then just for fun, top it off with a generous dash of Monty Python zaniness? One of the funniest and most enjoyable nights at the theater you’ve had in years, that’s what! A cast of four actors portray more than 150 characters in this mad-cap, entertaining adventure. Lightning-fast changes from hero to villain, from man to woman to child, will keep you gasping for breath as our enthralling story turns into a maze of murder, espionage, and flirtatious entanglements.
