The Phoenix Symphony has announced their upcoming season. Here is the list of Pops concerts and Special Events in their 2019 / 2020 Season:

• Relive hits from Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Beatles, The Who, Elton John and, of course, Billy Joel performed live by The Phoenix Symphony as vocalist Michael Cavanaugh returns to Symphony Hall.

• Known for his energetic stage presence, vocalist and pianist Michael Cavanaugh was handpicked by Billy Joel to star in the hit Broadway musical Movin’ Out and received both Tony and Grammy-Award nominations for the role.

• Star Wars and The Phoenix Symphony join forces for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert, featuring the iconic movie projected on the big screen above the orchestra with John Williams’ legendary score performed live.

• The saga continues at Symphony Hall! After the triumphant destruction of the Death Star, the Empire has regrouped—with

Darth Vader leading the hunt for Luke Skywalker.

• All Jedi, young and young at heart, are welcome to attend in costume. Please keep light sabers off during the performance.
