Whisper Sweetly unveils the untold origin story of the importance behind one’s observing of Daylight Savings Time. In a small village in a forest not far from the edge of town Abbott struggles to stay awake during the crucial hours of Daylight Savings. Anyone who drifts into a sleep risks the loss of their soul and body to those Catchers who feed off of dreams. It’s a tale of discovery, the sacrifice of loved ones, and bags upon bags of coffee.

Synopsis: Monica just moved back to town after grad school, and has responded to an ad looking for a roommate. Celia is as much an introvert as Monica is a bubbly extrovert, but Monica’s charm leads them to create a friendship that is tested and strengthened and manipulated when death begins to surround Monica. This dark comedy explores the struggles and strains of conflicting personalities in a roommate, and friendship, and the dark depths people can plunge to in order to feel needed. What would you be willing to kill for?

CHARACTERS
Monica - Mid 20s to mid 30s. Just moved to AZ after jobs post grad school didn't pan out. Her parents retired here, but she doesn't really know anyone else. Moves in with Celia. She is bubbly and chipper, but is weighed down by life, and her mother's struggling health.
Celia - Mid 20s to mid 30s. Works in a floral hop. Needs a roommate to replace her old roommate who is mysteriously missing. Introverted. A little dark, but quirky.
Gloria - The eccentric woman across the hall. Should be older than the girls, and old enough to find DAD attractive, but definitely not an old lady. Maybe mid 40s to late 50s.
Dad - Mid 40s to 50s. The dad everyone hopes they have. Playful, supportive, warm, smart.
Cortland - Mid 20s to mid 30s. Works several crap jobs to make ends meet. A good guy. Monica falls for him causing Celia's jealousy. Likeable.
