East Valley Children's Theatre's Spring Break Camp & Spring 2017 Classes


Spring Eight Week Classes - March 20–May 11, 2017

Monday - 8 weeks of 1 hour of class beginning March 20 – May 8 – Cost $100

CLASS 31 – 4:30-5:30 pm –Actor’s Tool Box – Intermediate Acting Skills (ages 8-13) – Jeff Deglow, Instructor.  This is a continuation of Class 20, building on techniques learned in that class and furthering participants’ performance skills.

CLASS 32 – 4:45- 5:45 pm – Creating Fantasy Stories (age 5-8) – Gingi Cullipher Instructor.
This is a creative drama class covering the basic skills for performing on stage.

CLASS 33 - 5:45-6:45 pm – Hollywood Here I Come (ages 10-16) Jeff Deglow Instructor.
A film and commercial class covering the basics of performing in film and for the camera.


Tuesday – 8 weeks of 1 hour of class beginning March 21-May 9 – Cost $100

CLASS 34 – 4:30-5:30 pm –Disney Here I Come  (age 5-8) Instructor Breona Conrad.  This class is a continuation of basic musical theatre class for kids, anyone can take the class who has little or no experience on stage.  Build confidence through singing and movement and acting while learning skills for performing on stage. Final day of class will have a short performance.

CLASS 35 – 4:45-5:45 pm – Intermediate Stage Combat (ages 10-16) Instructor Aaron Blanco.  This class is for youth who have some previous stage combat experience and focuses on the types of stage combat used on the stage.

CLASS 36 – 6:30-7:30 pm – Broadway Bound II (ages 10-16) Instructor Breona Conrad.  A continuation of Class 25 building on the skills learned and working on more advances musical theatre skills.

Wednesday – 8 weeks of 1 hour of class beginning March 22- May 10– Cost $100

Class 38 – 5:00-6:00 pm – Actors Toolbox – I Can’t Hear You (ages 8-14)  Instructor Dustin Loehr  A class concentrating on voice and diction and being heard on stage.  A must skill for any actor.

Class 19 – 6:00-7:00 pm – Actors Toolbox – Solo Acting (ages 8-14) Instructor Dustin Loehr.   This class works on skills in preparing and performing a monologue, covering all the basic skills an actor needs to perform on stage.
