Synopsis:
Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go.
In a cheap motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who’s in which room, who’s being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.
Character Breakdown
Eric Sheridan – male, 30s, bookish, even-keeled police officer, unassuming, but eager to prove his worth
Billie Dwyer – female, 20s/30s, excitable, unthreatening police officer (Eric’s partner), eager to succeed
Karen Brown – female, 30s, accountant, professional, undergoes passionate awakening
Mayor Meekly – male, 50s to 70s, affable, gentle, sweet
Mary Meekly – female, 50s to 70s, seemingly frail and sweet, and a good match for her husband
Agent Frank – male, 20s to 50s, head of security, seems tough but often frightened of his own shadow
Todd – male, 20s to 50s, the Scottish hitman, his accent becomes heavier (and less intelligible) the angrier he gets

Additional information on the director: Eric Schoen has directed 18 shows in the valley over the last six years, most recently Macbeth with Class 6 Theatre. Last season, he was fortunate enough to direct Complete Works at DFT.
