Casting Call for MTA’s Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS, a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film.
Auditions for this no-cut production for ages 6-10 will be held January 14, with callbacks on January 15, in Anthem.
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl but soon discovers that the mysterious Backson has captured Christopher Robin! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship, and of course…sharing snacks. Featuring favorite songs from the film as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is a favorite for children to perform.
The award-winning production staff includes Directors, Choreographers, and Stage Managers Sarah Brayer and Jessica Kishbaugh and Vocal Director Karen Blanzy. Rehearsals begin January 19 with performances taking place February 23-26, 2017.
