audition notice - A CHRISTMAS CAROL - Fountain Hills Theater

Fountain Hills Theater announces auditions for A Christmas Carol:

This is an original musical adaptation of the classic Dickens' tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his redemption through the visits of 4 spirits who change his miserly life forever.  AriZoni-nominated for both Script and Original Score.

This is a remount of our highly successful musical.  Several actors will be returning to their roles so open roles are limited.

Audition Dates: Saturday, October 15th at 2:00pm and Sunday, October 16th at 6:00pm

Production dates: Friday, December 2nd - 18th
Performances: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2pm

Walk-ins will be seen after all scheduled auditioners

Auditioners should prepare:
-16-32 bars of a song that best shows off their voice
 (Bring sheet music in appropriate key. No CD’s)
-Dress to move for dance audition
-Headshot and resume if available
-List of possible rehearsal conficts


Fred: 25-35  Scrooge’s long-suffering nephew.
Fred’s Wife: 18-35  Fred’s pretty, generous and kind wife.
Mr. Brockett: 18+ Upright, uptight gentleman who collects for charity.
Tom Jenkins: 18+  A poor soup man, very energetic.  Sing and dance.
Dick Wilkins: 16-25  Ebenezer’s workplace friend.  Sing and dance.
Mrs. Fezziwig: 35+ Fezziwig’s jovial wife.  Sing and dance.
Isabelle: 16-25  Ebenezer’s love.  Beautiful, kind and strong.  Sing and dance.
William: 25-30  Isabelle’s husband.  Handsome and gentle.
Ghost of Christmas Present: 18+  Bright, happy, boundless ghost - sly sense of humor. Sing &
Mrs. Campbell: 30+  A Mrs. Dilber wannabe.

Ensemble: Singing Quartet, Urchin children and School Children ages 8-12, Londoners, Fezziwig's Party Guests, Fred's Party Guests.
