Desert Foothills Theater's Summer Acting Camps

From our friends at Desert Foothills Theater: Acting Camp is open for all young, actors. Join Desert Foothills Theater for the opportunity to LEARN professional techniques, have FUN and SHINE like a STAR! There will be a full play peformance at the end of camp.  Sign up for Advanced Acting Camp Ages 12-17  July 25th - August 5th, 2016! Young actors will learn advanced techniques through improvisation, movement, and acting exercies. Together, we will create a play through exploration, imagination and ensemble work. Some techniques include Viewpoints, Uta Hagen, Improvisational Movement, and more!  Desert Foothills Theater is also offering camps for 5 - 7 year olds through ECS and the CCUSD. Creative Kids Camp (ages 5-7) July 11th - 22nd, 2016 9am - 12pm Come act, play, sing and create in this explorative Creative Kids theater camp. Register today!

Heather Cambanes will co-teach the Advanced Acting Camp. She is the Education Coordiantor for the programming at DFT. She has over 20 years expereience working in theater in NYC and Phoenix. Heatehr recently directed Alice in Wonderland at DFT.

Jack Lambert will co-teach the Advanced Acting Camp. He is another theatre veteran having taught at DFT and Theater Works. He is thrilled to be bringing the craft of acting to these young actors.
