Synopsis
The Quiltmaker’s Gift tells a lovely story of a greedy King and a generous Quiltmaker who teaches him that giving is the gift. Based on a beloved book, all ages will enjoy this musical play that is simultaneously sophisticated and childlike while celebrating the values of generosity and community.

Character Breakdown

Soldiers of the King:These characters are the singing, dancing, comic chorus of the play. A total of 5 young men/women move through the play, illustrating action and commenting on it as well.

Additional Info

Student matinees will be offered for this production so cast members must have ability to perform on 4 to 8 weekday mornings in December.

What To Prepare

Prepare a song (16 bars) and comic monologue. Be prepared to move.
