Latino actors needed for The Bridge Initiative's MAGDALENA'S CROSSING

STILL CASTING... small stipend. Latino/Latina actors especially needed.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) actors are encouraged to audition!

MAGDALENA: A young Mexican woman from the colonias in Juárez, now living in El Paso. 20s.
DALIA: A faded Mexican woman who has lived in El Paso, Texas for thirty years. 50s.
JAMAL: An African-American soldier from Detroit, stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso. 20s.
FÉDERICO: A matador from Mexico City training in Juárez. 20s.
IMMIGRATION MAN: US Immigration official in El Paso. White male, 30s-50s.
CHORUS (3 women): (The Juárez Women step out of the chorus to play the roles of Malinche, La Virgin, Carlota, and Concepcion at different intervals.)
MALINCHE: A Tarahumara Indian from the mountains in Chichuahua. 20s.
CARLOTA: A wealthy Mexican widow from Mexico City. Mother of Federico. 40s.
CONCEPCION: A poor Mexican widow from Juárez. Mother of Magdalena. 40s.
JUÁREZ WOMEN: (Lupe, Conchita, Rosita) 20-40s.
LA VIRGIN: La Virgin de Guadalupe, Mother of Mexico. 20s.
