AUDITION NOTICE: AFRICAN-AM/MIXED RACE ROLE IN ANGELS IN AMERICA
NEARLY NAKED THEATRE
is seeking additional candidates for the role of
BELIZE
in ANGELS IN AMERICA: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES
PLEASE NOTE: Angels in America does not perform until JUNE with rehearsals starting in late APRIL.
BELIZE:
(African-American or Mixed Race/Latino: age range 25-35)
A former drag queen and former lover of Prior. A registered nurse. Belize's name was originally Norman Arriaga; "Belize" is a drag-name that stuck. Loving, "fabulous" and very wise-beyond-his-years. Also plays Harper's fantasy travel-agent "Mr. Lies"
AUDITIONS
will take place with Callback auditions for ANGELS IN AMERICA on
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND from 6:00pm-10:00pm
and will consist of COLD READS FROM THE SCRIPT.
Sides will be issued in advance to anyone submitting an electronic headshot & resume with their audition appointment request. If you do not have a headshot and resume, then any picture and a brief summary of experience will so.
REHEARSALS BEGIN
Sunday, April 26th. Four to five nights a week, 6:00pm to 10:00pm
PERFORMANCE DATES
for MILLENNIUM APPROACHES are June 5th - 20th Wed - Sat at 8:00pm and Sundays at 6:00pm or 2:30pm alternating.
